SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional responsible for managing and executing a full spectrum of import operations and customs brokerage services. This role requires expertise in import tariff management, logistics coordination, and customs clearance procedures. The successful candidate will also be a key point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service while actively promoting and developing new business opportunities. This position is a blend of operational execution, client relationship management, and business development.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or Business Administration is required. A Law degree is a significant plus.
  • Language Skills:
  • English: Must be fluent with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Chinese: Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a strong plus.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in import operations, customs brokerage, and logistics coordination.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, and customs clearance procedures.
  • Experience with logistics software and entry-filing systems.
  • Familiarity with international shipping processes and working with overseas offices and agents.
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot shipping and customs issues.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
  • A proactive and business-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
