JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Specialist to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of import regulations and procedures, along with experience in materials handling and supply chain management. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of goods from international suppliers, while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in import operations or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with vendors is a plus.
  • Effective communication with suppliers, logistics providers, and government agencies is essential. This includes clear conveyance of complex information and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in data analysis skills to support decision-making processes.
  • Handling the billing process for import transactions, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payment processing
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
