MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree or 2 years college education (preferred)
  • ACE (QuesatWeb/Descartes software knowledge (preferred)
  • 1-year professional experience working with various ocean and air carriers and freight forwarders / consolidators
  • Knowledge and experience with FDA Prior Notice (preferred)
  • Knowledge and experience filing ISF (preferred)
  • Understanding of supply chain requirements, processes, and tracking of import shipments
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of data accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must have effective interpersonal and customer service skills
Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to handle large volume of import shipments
  • Follow up with all import shipments as required by federal agencies
  • Comply with established company and department policy and procedures
  • Maintain duty calculation spreadsheets and entry/documentation check lists as required
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time sensitive tasks
  • Analyze, identify and provide solutions to day to day work related issues
  • Maintain a good track record in keeping clearance errors to less than 2% per month
  • Ability to work with a diverse team
  • Assist team members as needed
