Cerna Healthcare is looking for compassionate and reliable compassionate Caregivers to join our dedicated care team. As a caregiver, you will assist elderly clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and provide emotional support in a safe and respectful environment.

SUMMARY

Cerna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide care for a client in the Pleasanton, CA area. This is an ongoing assignment that requires coverage every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 AM to 9 AM. The ideal candidate will be experienced with transfers, safety supervision, and providing hands-on care to ensure the client’s comfort and well-being. As a caregiver, you will assist elderly clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and provide emotional support in a safe and respectful environment..

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Have a valid Home Care Aide (HCA) ID (Required)
• Driving license and reliable transportation (Required)
• Proven experience in senior or home care settings.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate patient care.
• Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer’s care practices is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Must pass background checks as required by state regulations.

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. (Services are primarily showering)
• Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence.
• Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their well-being.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
