Providence is currently in need of a caregiver who is able to work shifts within an independent living facility in La Mesa.

Providence Home Care is a non-medical caregiving organization serving patients in San Diego, CA. Our caregivers provide personal care, homemaking and companionship services, as well as respite to current caregivers (professional and family).
The healthcare landscape is changing, and in-home supportive services are more important than ever. SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to read, understand, and follow simple instructions in English.
• Ability to write simple notes in English.
• Ability to follow directions in written and verbal forms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to maintain positive attitude at all times.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be knowledgeable of communication techniques for individuals suffering from cognitive impairment and/or memory loss.
• Must be knowledgeable of behavioral management techniques.
• Ability to predict and minimize hazards to the patient both within the home and without.
• Must be able to remain alert for wandering, falls or general confusion.
  Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
