POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented In-House Foreman to lead and coordinate facility operations for modular building projects. The successful candidate will hold a Red Seal Certification and bring proven expertise in overseeing projects from preparation to final finishing. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a crew, and hands-on experience in both carpentry and concrete forming/finishing.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Red Seal Certification (mandatory)
  • 5+ years of carpentry and leadership experience, preferably in modular or commercial construction
  • Proven experience supervising crews and coordinating work on multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated skills in concrete forming, placement, and finishing
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety practices, and construction standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead in-house carpentry and concrete crews to ensure quality and productivity
  • Perform and oversee all aspects of carpentry, including framing, finishing, and custom installations
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Plan and delegate daily tasks to meet project timelines and quality standards
  • Complete and manage concrete-related tasks, including forming, placing, and finishing for grade beams, footings, and other structural elements
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Ensure all work meets safety, building code, and company standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and suppliers to maintain workflow
  • Mentor apprentices and junior staff to build skills and maintain high-quality work
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety policies
