What we are looking for:

  • Qualified solicitor with 1- 3 years PQE

Strong experience in:

  • Regulatory matters (outsourcing, distribution, fitness & probity, consumer protection)
  • Data protection and GDPR
  • Drafting commercial agreements in line with IDD, Solvency II, PRIIPs
  • Irish and EU financial regulatory frameworks
  • Experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Broad commercial contracts expertise
  • Familiarity with investment products, insurance wrappers, and unit-linked funds
  • Fluent English with strong written and verbal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic legal advice across all areas of the business
  • Report directly to and collaborate closely with the Head of Legal
  • Manage company secretarial duties, including board updates and regulatory correspondence
  • Draft and negotiate commercial and transactional contracts
  • Oversee external legal counsel and manage litigation portfolios
  • Support operations with consumer protection and policyholder rights
  • Draft policy terms and conditions
  • Collaborate with compliance and risk teams on regulatory matters
  • Advise on new product development and legislative implementation
  • Handle GDPR, AML, and KYC compliance
  • Lead cross-functional projects with legal and commercial impact
