We’re looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our client’s team as a Senior Paralegal / Law Clerk, supporting the Director of Legal (Canada) and other key stakeholders. Legal Support: Assist in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing a wide range of general business contracts, including RFP bids and legal correspondence.
Contract Compliance: Address and resolve contract compliance-related inquiries and routine legal questions under the direction of the Director of Legal (Canada).
Issue Resolution: Collaborate with various parties to resolve routine legal issues related to product purchases, provincial health authorities, clinical studies, confidentiality agreements, and more.
Advisory: Provide day-to-day legal support to the Director of Legal (Canada) on a wide range of legal issues and commercial activities.
Project Participation: Engage in special projects as required, ensuring that all contracts meet our legal standards.
Independent Work: Manage a wide variety of contracts across our business units, using discretion and independent judgment.
Template Development: Develop and update contract templates to ensure consistency and legal compliance.
Research: Conduct in-depth, internet-based legal research on topics such as corporate law, intellectual property, privacy, and ethics.
