" Responsibilities: A SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Job Description focuses on designing, configuring, and supporting supply chain solutions to optimize storage, picking, packing, and physical inventory. Consultants act as a bridge between business needs and IT systems, ensuring seamless warehouse operations and integration with MM, PP, and SD modules. Key Responsibilities System Design & Configuration: Set up warehouse structures, storage bins, storage sections, and picking/putaway strategies. Cross-Module Integration: Ensure seamless data flow between WM and Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP). Automation & Scanning: Configure Radio Frequency (RF) devices, barcode scanning, and customized label printing. Project Lifecycles: Lead or assist in SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and post-go-live support. Testing & Troubleshooting: Develop test plans, conduct FUT/UAT, debug functional issues, and perform root cause analysis. User Enablement: Document configuration changes and provide training to end-users. Essential Qualifications Experience: Typically 3 to 10+ years of domain and configuration experience, often requiring a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Supply Chain, IT, or Engineering. Core Skills: Deep knowledge of Warehouse Structure, Bin Management, Stock Transport Orders (STO), Inventory Management, and Handling Unit (HU) Management. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) and IDoc troubleshooting. Certifications: Validated SAP WM or Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) certifications from SAP are a major plus.
