WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 2-3 years of customer service/office admin experience
  • High-volume call center or inbound calling experience
  • Pleasant demeanor over the phone and emails
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, TRUX an asset
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Critical and logical thinking skills
Responsibilities
  • Answering customer calls and processing customer orders for new service, discontinuance, or changes in service.
  • Accepting payments from customers, researching customer billing inquiries and updating customer account information.
  • Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine service requirements, resolve problems or complaints, and seeks cost-effective, safe environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
  • Entering data from new sales material as well as customer terminations and service changes
  • Maintaining sales spreadsheets and pdf files related to the sales activities
  • Analyzing account activity and suggesting opportunities for service improvements to the customer with a consultative approach
  • Maintaining appropriate files and documentation, in accordance with company policy and internal control
