SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The In-Process Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean facility during peak operation hours that adheres to food safety rules and regulations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Lift, push, pull, pick, or carry overhead a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Bend, stoop, twist, walk, grasp, push and pull repeatedly 90 % of the time
  • Knowledge of FS rules and regulations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of sanitation or janitorial experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.
  • Occasionally moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
  • Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
  • Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
