DA/PRO RUBBER, INC.   JOB DESCRIPTION     JOB TITLE:              In-Process Inspector (Line Check)   FLSA STATUS:       Non-Exempt   REPORTS TO:        Manager, Quality Assurance   LOCATION:              Broken Arrow, OK                                       JOB SUMMARY   In-Process Inspector (Line Checker) is responsible for pulling and evaluating samples from each press during production. Ability to review job travelers, drawings, control plans, and other documented specifications for product requirements and to ensure conformance to those specifications.  Use of a microscope, a magnifying glass, and various other hand tools such as tweezers and scissors. Use of measurement and test equipment such as Visions systems, Optical comparators, durometers, calipers, micrometers, leak test units, and special testing devices. JOB DUTIES   1. Inspect manufactured products for conformance to specifications. 2. Separate components with defects, including but not limited to cracks, marks, holes, tears, and contamination. 3. Notify the supervisor of excessive defects on any particular component. 4. Document accepted/rejected counts on product paperwork. 5. Speak to others to convey information effectively. 6. Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems. 7. Other duties as assigned.   QUALIFICATIONS   * Must be able to weigh, count, and document inspection results accurately * Some experience in entering data into a computer is required * Strong attention to detail
