Description
The In-Process Inspector II requires the ability to perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection functions in manufacturing areas under direct supervision. This role must be dedicated to the quality function and strive to improve the quality of both the product and processes. Performs limited repetitive dimensional and electrical inspection using basic equipment and established procedures with minimum supervision. Need to have mechanical aptitude with an ability execute good record keeping practices as a major part of the duties. Must be detail-oriented and adept at accuracy. Must be flexible and able to work with a variety of different people and in different areas depending on business need. Interpret drawings and written work instructions. Uses a variety of precision measuring instruments including electrical test equipment including calipers, and micrometer. Schedules, plans, and executes assigned or delegated tasks in an efficient manner. Prioritize workload such that production delays are minimized or eliminated. Ability to interface directly with customer representatives. Must possess basic mathematical abilities and be computer literate and is comfortable using different applications. Attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements. (i.e., JSTD). Perform or review First Article Inspection Reports as required. Support Overtime as required or scheduled by Building FFM or Supervisor. Perform In-Process Surveillance Audits Able to use MS Office programs (Excel, Word), Agile, and Visual. Pacsci Trained for Weld Inspection, Solder Inspection, Leak Testing and Powder Bed Inspection. Perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge in the use of mechanical measuring tools (including calipers, and micrometer) Ability to interpret drawings and instructions Good written, verbal, mathematical and analytical skills IPC 600, 610 and JStandard certification preferred Ability to read/write in English 2-3 years of experience with In-Process Inspection preferred High School Degree or GED Previous work experience 3-6 years mechanical inspection
