Your role
A. Supports the production department by providing required analytical data. Communicates the quality status of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to the supervisor and/or the shift technicians in charge.
B. Is responsible for pulling routine and additional samples on request in the production environment.
C. Obtains or orders necessary supplies to maintain uninterrupted laboratory operation.
D. Performs assigned calibrations, preventive maintenance, and other scheduled tasks.
E. Analyze intermediates and finished products by evaluating against Symrise specifications. Manages nonconforming results according to quality system procedures. Signs off quality related documents.
F. Maintains essential documentation for cGMP compliance (nonconformance investigations, calibration data, batch record review, QC data logging) and fosters documents tracking campaign statistics (Excel, MES).
Other Functions:
A: Performs additional assigned duties as required by the shift Supervisor which may not be limited to the laboratory environment such as working in the production area.About you
Education and Work Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year experience in an analytical or quality control laboratory is preferred.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to visually assess and distinguish plant materials. Basic math and mechanical skills are necessary. Ability to correctly interpret and communicate analytical results relative to process requirements. Mechanical aptitude required for instrument/ lab equipment general maintenance and troubleshooting. Microsoft Office and SAP computer skills.
Safety/Regulatory Training Requirements: Follow all safety policies and procedures regarding safe handling and usage of all plant materials. This includes wearing all prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE) and completing all scheduled training.
Working Conditions: Laboratory and production environment. Daily interaction with production employees is required for the communication of analysis and quality status.Our offer
