The sky is your limit What you will be doing: Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Follow thoroughly the sequence of service from the in-room dining department. Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our working areas are maintained at all times. Provide timely, personalized, friendly, polite, and efficient food and beverage service to our hotel guests in their guestrooms or any other area of the hotel as directed. Uphold the highest internal and external customer service standards by demonstrating Fairmont Service Essentials and Forbes standards and applying 5 Diamond Service at all times. Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team Serving It Right Certificate Physical aspects of position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps Additional Information Your team and working environment: Working with a diverse and talented team of passionate individuals, in a luxury hotel environment.
