Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the In-stock Manager, you will be responsible for executing inventory and demand planning strategies to optimize customer experience, sell-out, netPPM at the various stages of the product life-cycle.
You will be relentlessly focused on delivering high confirmation-rate and forecast accuracy in order to lower out-of-stock rate (ROOS) and leverage multiple supply-chain models.
You will communicate effectively across teams and levels, not only sales and marketing, but also supply chain team (pre-purchase) and customer care team (post purchase).
You will also work with AVS team at Amazon and the supply-chain Amazon programs (DI / SPICs) counterparts.
This position requires a candidate with proven analytical skills with experience driving process improvement, thought leadership, and delivering results.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation (SKU, category, channel) using statistical models, historical sales data, and market trends.
  • Analyze website traffic, promotional plans, and sales trends to anticipate demand shifts and identify opportunities or risks.
  • Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, inventory, and supply chain teams to align demand plans with business goals.
  • Monitor product life cycles and seasonal trends to adjust forecasts according to Amazon sell out / strategy
  • Manage forecast accuracy by tracking performance and implementing improvements to forecasting models and processes.
  • Support new product launches by forecasting initial demand and inventory needs.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders to provide visibility into forecast performance, inventory health, and demand trends.
