ABOUT CMAAS: Capital Market and Accounting Advisory Services is a dedicated global team of professionals that provides high-value advisory services under IFRS, Indian GAAP and Ind AS along with capital markets services. Responsibilities: Roles & Responsibilities (essential functions and responsibilities of the job): · Manage FP&A engagements, focusing on improving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes for clients. · Provide expert advisory services related to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in alignment with IFRS, Indian GAAP, and Ind AS frameworks. · Assist clients in enhancing their FP&A capabilities by evaluating current processes, recommending improvements, and implementing best practices. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance, develop financial models, and generate actionable insights to drive business strategy. · Support clients in IPO preparedness, including financial analysis, planning, and the development of financial disclosures required for capital market transactions. · Assist in evaluating financial impacts of cross-border transactions, with a focus on financial reporting and planning under different accounting frameworks (IFRS/US GAAP/Ind AS). · Contribute to thought leadership publications and internal knowledge sharing on best practices in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. · Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying opportunities for expanding FP&A-related advisory services. Mandatory skill sets: · CA / CMA with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience, with a focus on FP&A, financial reporting, or accounting advisory. · Experience managing FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis. · Strong understanding of financial accounting standards, including IFRS, Indian GAAP, and Ind AS. · Ability to analyze financial data, generate insights, and translate them into strategic recommendations for clients. · Experience in advising clients on financial planning and performance management processes. Preferred skill sets: · Additional qualification of CPA, ACCA, and other post-graduation in accounting will be an added advantage · Focus on identifying and developing business opportunities and managing relationships · Project and team management · Ability to read, understand and apply technical accounting standards · Supervise projects, develop and implement solutions · Coach junior team members, encourage technical excellence and learning · Ability to apply technical accounting standards and FP&A best practices to client scenarios. · Excellent communication skills and should be flexible to travel · Experience of working on Indian GAAP / IFRS conversion engagements in the past · Quick learner and manages a team well · Ability to read, understand and apply technical accounting standards · Manage/execute projects, develop and implement solutions · Identify and develop business opportunities and manage relationships · Coach junior team members, encourage technical excellence and learning · Well versed with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Years of experience required: · 3-5 Years post CMA / CA experience with a focus on FP&A.
