Responsibilities: · Regularly liaison with client teams for taking a download of the matter pending before the tax authorities · Assistance to the client team in drafting applications to avoid any errors · Coordinating with the tax authorities for processing the refund, rectification, appeal effect matters and assisting the team in processing the lower withholding tax applications · Briefing senior team members of the issues involved in the matter and accompanying them for meeting with senior tax officials · Identify the common issues in respect to the proceedings (faceless) · Preparing the responses of the common queries raised during the course of proceedings after discussion with senior team members · Carrying out legal research on various positions and judicial precedents with respect to the aforesaid proceedings Profile requirement · To be a qualified chartered accountant with 2-4 year of relevant experience · Thorough technical knowledge of Direct Tax and International Tax issues Well versed with various Rules and Procedures regarding dealing with tax authorities · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Strong tax technical skills · Ability to research positions of law and frame legal arguments · Strong analytical and numerical skills · Good interpersonal and networking · Efficiency in MS office and report writing skills · Motivated, creative and decisive in approach to problem solving · Ownership and responsibility of clients/tasks delegated Mandatory skill sets: Direct Tax - Litigation Preferred skill sets: Direct Tax - Litigation Years of experience required: 2-4years Education qualification: CA Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Chartered Accountant Diploma Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Required Skills Corporate Tax, Direct Tax Optional Skills Accepting Feedback, Accepting Feedback, Active Listening, Client Confidentiality, Communication, Corporate Governance, Criminal Profiling, Criminal Psychology, Emotional Regulation, Empathy, Ethical Standards, Evidence Gathering, Expert Witness, Financial Crime Investigation, Forensic Investigation, Fraud Investigation, Fraud Management, Inclusion, Intellectual Curiosity, Investigation, Legal Advice, Legal Appeal, Legal Briefs, Legal Compliance, Legal Document Review {+ 18 more} Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) Travel Requirements Not Specified Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
