" Job Description & Summary A career within FII services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients leverage Financial Services to enhance their customer experiences *Responsibilities: The role would be a part of teams lead by Team Leader (Managers and Directors) and the client service Partners. The tasks, roles and responsibilities pertaining to the job role of an Associate will include the following: ● Develop an expert understanding on various exchange traded financial products / securities and the contractual, settlement, regulatory and tax related aspects of the same. ● Project Management – In-depth technical knowledge, good drafting skills, sound knowledge of basics of income tax and tax treaties, Direct Tax and knowledge of other regulations like, tax treaties, foreign exchange regulations and SEBI regulations,. ● Research capabilities –independently conducting technical research, knowledge of all Tax-Related Books/software for research (experienced Associates). ● Client deliverables – Preparing Memos/Opinion/Submissions/PPT and adhering to timelines. ● Handling client relationship – Updating clients on on-going matters on a prompt and regular basis, keeping track of industry developments. ● Sharing industry knowledge and learnings with teams, peers, etc. ● Assistance in representation before tax and regulatory authorities – collating information from different sources, drafting submissions, finalising with clients. ● Responsible for ensuring compliance with the firm’s Risk Management compliances for allocated clients on a regular basis. Working alongside other senior team members on business development initiatives.
