Job Description Regular: Ensure requirements of Quality management system for Chennai plant Build required systems for automotive QMS certification for the plant Support for Review and authorize quality gates for new projects of EM and EM-IB Coordinate for customer PPAP process for EM and EM-IB projects Series support for customers. Claim management in case of 0 km complaints / warranty handling and analysis of field failures. IQIS system management for all types of complaints. Coordinate and drive improvements in terms of quality within the value stream from source / make and deliver. Implement zero defect quality initiatives in the plant ( Also initiatives driven from RBIN/QMM ) Coordinate for risk assessment in case of concessions / complaints Lessons learnt drive and support for the plant. eLPC monitoring for the plant. Plan and implement at all levels. Coordinate and face internal / external system audits and customer audits. Support to conduct product audits and process audits. Support to Plan and conduct A , Q inspection Follow up and coordinate with Engg and lead plant for Z inspection and follow up for reports Support to Conduct PDI ( Pre dispatch inspection ) and generate reports for all lots Coordinate for plant to plant quality issues. Coordinate with HR for training and skill development for all BC associates. Support to Coordinate with HR for role specific trainings for M&SS. Monitor fine measurement room and all measurment activities. Monitor and audit calibration acitivites for all measuring gauges / equipments in the plant Support to Plan and manage budget ( Capex and Indirect ) Manufacturing quality role. IDC tracking , Measures tracking thorugh PDCA FPY improvement. Measures tracking through PDCA / System CIP Problem solving and 8D maturity improvement drive. Follow up for open points arising from all audits , LPC. Periodic: Audits - Process / System - Internal , External , customer. Customer visits Quality task force acitivtes. QRM , WBRM(Quality), MRM , BVS KPI reporting to EM/QM2 , RBIN/QMM , 2WP/QMM , EM/QM , EM/QMC Qualifications BE/BTech (Mechanical / Electrical) with 3+ Years of Experience.
