Job Description The purpose of this position is to supervise & drive excellence in physical logistics operations to enable timely collection of material from business partners, delivery of material internally to MOE, job work materials to business partners and finished manufactured goods externally to customers/warehouses. Logistics Management: Supervise logistics specific standards, processes, and systems within physical logistics to fulfil customer delivery demands in a timely manner Logistics Transformation: Define & develop end-to-end digital and connected value chain to optimize material and information flow Physical Logistics: Supervise and ensure logistics operations compliant with internal guidelines viz. OMP ( Bosch India)/ PS processes & methods, central directives for operations, safe and secure storage of raw materials, chemicals and finished goods Escalation Management: Review and escalate physical logistics and material delivery topics to leadership team (As per escalation matrix) to seek appropriate management intervention delivery of materials. Compliance Management: Manage commercial processes to be legally compliant with Internal guidelines Viz: OMP (Bosch India)central directives and external laws namely foreign trade customs and taxation laws People Management: Determine the logistics competency requirements for the basis current and future trends and direct employee capability development accordingly Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical)/ Masters in business administration (supply chain) Masters degree / Diploma in supply chain (desirable) 10+ years work experience in physical logistics and stores management Knowledge Competent knowledge in SAP-WM, PP, SD & LE module Competent knowledge of IT tools viz. InTrack, EMR , CELONIS & Power BI reports Competence in GST, taxation, export imports guidelines, HSE, CL management & insurance Expert knowledge in material flow, warehouse management, storage & handling norms, value yard management Functional Skills Competent skills in LMM, BPS, warehouse KPIs, inventory management, JIT, Milkrun, space planning Competent skills for warehouse & transportation management, warehouse productivity Competent communication and conflict management skills Additional Information The purpose of this position is to provide a production plan to manufacturing and procurement team to ensure timely production fulfillment.
