" Job Description & Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong hands‑on expertise in ERwin Data Modeler and a solid background in the Insurance domain. The role involves designing and maintaining enterprise‑level data models that support data warehousing, reporting, analytics, and regulatory needs within insurance business functions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to ensure data models accurately reflect insurance processes and are aligned with enterprise data standards. Responsibilities Data Modeling & Design Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeler Translate insurance business requirements into scalable and compliant data models Define entities, attributes, relationships, constraints, and naming conventions Support enterprise reporting and analytics use cases Insurance Domain Modeling Develop data models for insurance domains such as Policy, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, Reinsurance, Customer, and Products Understand and model insurance data flows across upstream and downstream systems Support regulatory and compliance-driven data requirements Perform impact analysis for changes across insurance data structures Data Warehouse & Database Support Create and maintain data models for Data Warehouse / Data Lake environments Support dimensional modeling (fact and dimension tables) for analytics Optimize models for performance, scalability, and data integrity Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar Governance & Collaboration Collaborate with business, data engineering, and architecture teams Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance and modeling standards Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and ERwin model documentation Support schema versioning and lifecycle management Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong hands‑on experience with ERwin Data Modeler (mandatory) Excellent understanding of data modeling concepts (conceptual, logical, physical) Experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling Proficiency in SQL Experience with relational databases (Postgres, Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) Understanding of ETL processes and data integration Domain Experience Mandatory experience in the Insurance domain Strong understanding of insurance business processes and data structures Experience working with policy, claims, underwriting, or related insurance datasets Mandatory Skill sets: Data Modeling Preferred Skill sets: Data Modeling Years of Experience Required: 4-7 years Education Qualification: BE, B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, MBA Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Bachelor of Engineering, MBA (Master of Business Administration), Master of Engineering Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Required Skills Data Modeling Optional Skills Accepting Feedback, Accepting Feedback, Active Listening, Algorithm Development, Alteryx (Automation Platform), Analytical Thinking, Analytic Research, Big Data, Business Data Analytics, Communication, Complex Data Analysis, Conducting Research, Creativity, Customer Analysis, Customer Needs Analysis, Dashboard Creation, Data Analysis, Data Analysis Software, Data Collection, Data-Driven Insights, Data Integration, Data Integrity, Data Mining, Data Modeling, Data Pipeline {+ 38 more} Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) Travel Requirements Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
