The Assurance group can also help organizations report externally on non-financial information, strengthen its corporate governance procedures, and achieve social and economic goals related to corporate sustainability. Financial audits provide an independent opinion on a company's financial report and are a critical element in the capital markets system. ABOUT CMAAS: Capital Market and Accounting Advisory Services is a dedicated global team of professionals that provides high-value advisory services under IFRS, Indian GAAP and Ind AS along with capital markets services. Responsibilities: Roles & Responsibilities (essential functions and responsibilities of the job): Accurately post financial transactions related to Accounts Payable (vendor invoices, payments, expense reports) and ensure timely processing. Book Accounts Receivable transactions (customer invoices, receipts, adjustments), ensuring accurate and prompt postings. Record and track production-related accounting entries including preparation of production orders in the SAP system, including work-in-progress and inventory adjustments. Record transactions related to bank payments/ receivable entries postings. Maintain fixed assets register and post transactions related to asset acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and revaluations. Verify, reconcile, and validate transaction data before posting to maintain accuracy and completeness. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciling AP, AR, production accounts, and fixed assets ledger accounts. Support internal and external audits by providing required transaction documentation and explanations. Collaborate closely with finance, procurement, production, and other teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline transaction flow. Utilize SAP and other accounting software systems effectively to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives to improve accounting processes and reporting. Mandatory skill sets: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com, M.com, MBA). 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Accounting & Book keeping. Proven experience working with SAP Business One (SAP B1) for transaction posting is preferable. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
