The Role
We are currently hiring a Full-Time Inbound Call Specialist to become the welcoming voice of TOTAL PLUMBING & MECHANICAL INC. In this key position, you will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring that every call is handled with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. Whether a client is calling to schedule a repair, inquire about a service, or report an urgent plumbing issue, you will manage the conversation with empathy, efficiency, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, providing courteous and knowledgeable support.
  • Gather client details, assess their needs, and document service requests accurately.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with the service and dispatch teams to ensure timely responses.
  • Handle urgent and emergency calls with a calm, reassuring demeanor while following proper escalation procedures.
  • Provide information about company services, processes, and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions using internal systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold a positive and professional company image in every client interaction.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or administrative support role preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with a clear and professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to listen attentively, show empathy, and resolve inquiries efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak service times.
  • Proficiency with computers and scheduling or CRM software (training provided).
  • A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer care and problem-solving.
