Responsibilities

As an Inbound Customer Support Sales Representative, you will be the voice of Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance for prospects and customers. You’ll guide them through every phase of their journey—from initial questions and product research to policy service and ongoing support—delivering an exceptional experience every step of the way.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve customers and prospects through phone, email, chat, and internal messaging.
  • Obtain required insurance licenses to answer product and industry questions.
  • Educate customers on insurance solutions and identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Assist with online account navigation, billing inquiries, and payment processing.
  • Support lead nurturing and follow-up practices to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions in accordance with company procedures.
  • Research and resolve service issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Provide feedback to improve customer resolution strategies.WHAT YOU BRING
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years in sales and/or customer service).
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain professional, empathetic, and patient with all customers.
  • Proven organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Initiative to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes.REQUIREMENTS TO SUCCEED
  • Must have or be willing to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
  • Comfortable using a personal computer and navigating multiple communication systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing processes and emerging brands.
