Job Description The Patient Support Coordinator is the first point of contact for our patients and will be primarily focused on managing inbound calls. This role is central to ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience, providing empathetic support, and helping patients navigate their care journey. Responsibilities: Inbound Call Handling: Take the lead on answering inbound patient calls, resolving queries in a timely and professional manner. Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with healthcare professionals to maintain efficient schedules. Patient Communication: Respond to emails and live chat as needed, ensuring consistency across all communication channels. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Billing and Payment Support: Assist patients with subscription queries and prescription payments. Clinical Support: Provide administrative assistance to doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure smooth operations between the clinic and pharmacy. Patient Experience: Deliver an empathetic and patient-first service, resolving concerns effectively to enhance satisfaction and trust. Requirements: Proven experience in a healthcare or patient-facing role. Strong telephone communication skills with a calm and professional manner. Excellent interpersonal skills with an empathetic, patient-focused approach. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Confident using IT systems and multiple software platforms. Personal Attributes: Approachable and compassionate.
