EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor’s Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of accounting practices and principles
  • Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and upload journal entries for various transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and ensure that all discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
  • Manage and process manual payments accurately and timely and send payment confirmations once completed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain proper documentation for all transactions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Analyze and investigate variances.
  • Prepare trend analysis and other special analysis as required.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests as needed.
  • Generate ad hoc reports as needed.
