Description SUMMARY: Assists in the investigations of incidents involving people supported and program quality, in adherence to applicable laws, regulations and agency policies. Assists in the continuous development of quality standards and in the maintenance of CQL accreditation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Conducts investigations and writes reports on notable occurrences, significant incidents, and allegation of abuse incidents. Assists staff in the classification of incidents and ensures proper notifications. Assists Director of Quality Management in training staff in regulation and agency policy, and in the development of trend reports. Maintains knowledge of all pertinent laws and regulations including but not limited to NYS Mental Hygiene Law regarding standards of quality of program. Attends all training in investigations and regulatory compliance. Attends and presents incident investigations at monthly Incident Review Committee meetings.
