  • Implements Group policy related to Operational Permanent Control (OPC) Framework incident Management events (internal or external) that have, or could have, resulted in a loss, gain or opportunity cost .
  • Ensures the efficacy of Incident Management Lifecycle by effecting the collaboration of ILOD OPC Officers, covering:
  • Investigation an examination of the details, causes and impact of an incident, considering the effect across all businesses and functions across the Bank .
  • Analysis an in depth study of the root cause of an event .
  • Action plan a remediation approach to permanently address short and long-term causes Follow up incorporating recommendations from business and independent reviewers.
  • Closure reviewing the quality of evidence proposed to close an incident action plan.
  • Escalation propose mitigation actions relating to gaps, risks and delays to senior management.
  • Develops, collects, monitors, analyzes, reports and presents incident trends to committees (weekly and ad hoc) tackling incidents, supporting mariagement’s understanding of causal patterns and advising on how to prevent.
  • Provides awareness and training to participants in the incident management lifecycle.
  • Executes and identifies continuous improvement opportunities to raise the quality of incident management
