Inclusion Learning Interns (2 Position) - Beledweyne – Somali-National only Save the Children is the world's leading independent organisation for children. We work in 120 countries. Role Dimensions  Save the Children operates across all zones in Somalia and currently has three main area offices and additional 11 field offices. Programmatically Somalia is a large Country Office with more than $100million annual budget and staff over 650 staff. ROLE PURPOSE:  Under the general direction and guidance of the Education officer, and ECD Project Manager and the Disability Inclusion Technical Specialist and the field Manager, the Inclusive learning Interns will support disability inclusion with the ECD Inclusive Education project and Disability mainstreaming across other projects. The intern will work hand in hand with the Officer to ensure, linkage of the project with the organizations of persons with disabilities in Beledweyne, support to mobilise parents of children with disabilities of ECD going age to understand and support their children to access ECD education. Oversee the formation and training of psychosocial support groups for mothers of children with disabilities in the ECD schools  In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly. SCOPE OF THE ROLE Reports to:  Program officer- Education QUALIFICATIONS * University degree in social sciences, social work, social administration, disability studies, development studies, information technology or other relevant academic discipline. * Lived experience of disability EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS  * Background of implementing community development activities especially for marginalised groups either in humanitarian and/or developmental responses.  * At least 1 year experience in a similar field of activity. * Demonstrable effective communication skills. Responsibilities
