QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Master’s in the area of Inclusive Education preferred OR at least three courses in the following areas:
  • Theoretical foundations of inclusive education
  • Child and youth development and exceptionality such as development disability, physical disability, or ASD
  • Inclusive instructional and assessment practices for diverse classrooms
  • Social emotional learning and mental health related learning needs. This may include course work on trauma informed practice, various aspects of mental health or positive behavioural support.
  • Queens special education part 1 and 2 meets the qualifications for this position.
