CanCap Group Inc. (“CanCap”) is part of privately-owned Canadian national financial services company with multiple verticals across automotive, consumer, and merchant lending portfolios. We manage the entire lifecycle of the finance receivable from credit adjudication through to contract administration, customer service, default management and post charge-off recoveries.  CanCap works with Automobile Dealer Partners to help clients finance the purchase of new and used vehicles. What your day could look like: Reporting to the Income and Funding Manager, an Income Analyst plays an essential role in mitigating risk by verifying and validating consumer information specific to their affordability to repay this loan. These duties include: * Income Queues: Review and assess submitted income verification documentation for authenticity and capacity to service requested loan * Income Inbox – monitor for received documents, rush requests and real-time inquiries * Phone Calls – handle inbound calls from Dealers and Employers, as well as make outbound calls to applicant employers * Communicate with dealer partners clearly through digital notes, emails, and other communication methods * Review and address inter-departmental referrals * Insolvency Trustee Calls Creditor Package Reviews * Index faxes and digital documents What you bring: * One to three years income verification is an asset * Investigative nature and a predisposition toward skeptical analysis * Strong attention to detail * Familiar and comfortable with basic arithmetic * Ability to juggle competing priorities with a sense of urgency * Outstanding ability build rapport over the telephone * A commitment to exceptional customer service * Motivation and drive towards continuous learning and growth within your role and the company * Dependability and self-motivation * Positive, conscientious, and clear communication style Next Steps We have taken time to be purposeful and thoughtful with this job posting.  Please do the same with your application.  Express how you see your work experience as relatable to this role.  Help us understand how you would be a great addition to our team.
