THE ROLE

Eastlight has an exciting Fixed term/Secondment until March 2026, full-time opportunity for an Income Manager aiming to enhance the well-being of our residents!
As an Income Manager you will be responsible for maximising income within Eastlight, through the effective recovery of all housing related debt while working in accordance with policies & procedures. You will provide a firm but fair approach to income collection.
Applicants are required to hold a UK driving licence, have access to a vehicle, and be open to regional travel.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Maximise income within Eastlight through the effective recovery of all housing related debt including rent and service charges.
Work in accordance with court protocols and attend court and attend other related procedures such as eviction.
Deliver basic advice on welfare benefits and make referrals to Eastlight Welfare Benefit Advisors, where appropriate; as well as comprehensive advice and assistance on Housing Benefit claims.
Provide excellent customer services via telephone and face to face.
Supply debt advice and signpost to other agencies where appropriate.
Maintain good working relationships with both internal and external key partners and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to promote financial inclusion.
Develop effective liaison arrangements with a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies.
