In this dynamic role, you’ll provide vital support to our Income Recovery Team, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with tenants. Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Provide administrative support to the Income Recovery Team.
  • Handle rent account enquiries and communicate with tenants behind on payments.
  • Monitor and record tenant and Housing Benefit payments.
  • Run and monitor rent account reports.
  • Conduct pre-calls to housing applicants for initial rent payments.
  • Lead recovery of former tenant arrears and recharges.
  • Process rent refunds and balance transfers.
  • Manage arrears for garage and parking licence fees.
  • Liaise with Housing Benefit departments for claim information.
  • Support Income Recovery Officers in monitoring rent accounts.
  • Stay updated on welfare benefits and signpost tenants.
  • Receive and process telephone payments.
  • Set up and amend direct debits.
  • Assist team members and cover Reception duties as needed.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate records and handle written communications.
  • Comply with Data Protection Act and stay informed on relevant legislation.
  • Attend team meetings and participate in job description reviews.
  • Adhere to Hightown’s policies and procedures.
  • Perform duties in line with the Association’s Equal Opportunities policy.
  • Carry out other duties as directed by management.
