PRIMARY FUNCTION Under the guidance of the Quality Manager, the IQC is responsible for monitoring and providing timely feedback to suppliers through SQA. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Planning for sampling inspection based on previous year data. * Revising IQP by including new check points based on corrective actions. * Lot rejection / segregation details – feedback to supplier through concerned person. * Arranging equipment and fixtures for testing incoming components. * Monitoring the effectiveness of Incoming inspection process/ Lead time of completion etc. * Decision making & providing containment actions on inadequate quality materials to avoid line stoppage. * Regular monitoring of pending status. * Providing training to the operators * Maintaining day to day documents as per procedures. * Periodic verification of instruments and calibration. QUALIFICATIONS * A minimum of an associate degree will be preferred, or a High School Diploma or GED. and be able to take all appropriate training classes required in lieu of a degree. * Knowledge in Various inspection methods and sampling plans. Knowledge in SPC is preferable. EXPERIENCE * Must have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in quality inspection. * Adopting problem solving methodology through systematic analysis by means of Kaizen, etc. * Detail oriented and organizational skills. * Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment * Ability to read and speak English fluently. * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills * Strong verbal/written communication * Computer literacy. LICENSURE * n/a TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS * Use of hands and tools to properly perform the job. * Incumbent must be able to operate a computer. * Stooping, bending, stretching, and reaching outward and over their head. * This position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking. * Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary. * Lift minimum of forty (40) pounds. * Willingness to cross-train into other departments. A: 06:00am-2:30pm B: 2:00pm-10:30pm C: 10:00pm- 6:30am
