JOB SUMMARY

The Incoming Quality Inspector plays a key role on our quality team, with primary responsibilities focused on inspecting incoming materials before they enter production. This includes, but is not limited to, using measuring devices to check specifications, detailed observation to notice potential concerns, and documenting issues that need to be addressed. This role will be expected to complete and send non-conformance reports and communicate directly with vendors regarding quality issues or concerns. Therefore, being comfortable using a computer is a must. This individual, while mainly focusing on incoming materials, will also be asked to inspect finished goods prior to shipment as needed.

JOB SKILLS

• Ability to read blueprints
• Regular use of basic measurement equipment
• Adequate computer skills to enter, read, and manage digital quality data.
• Quality Inspection experience preferred
• Marine seating experience is preferred
• Effectively monitor, document, and report quality and quality defects
• Extremely observant to details
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Safely navigate a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to communicate well with others in a team environment and be able to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs.

Experience:

• Quality Inspection: 1 year preferred
• Basic Computer Skills required
