Description
Overview NATIONWIDE SEARCH: Dallas, TX & Lake Minnetonka, MN: Incredible parents currently residing in a serene, wooded neighborhood on Lake Minnetonka are relocating to Dallas, TX for the school year and will return to Minnesota for the summer months. This will be their long-term rhythm moving forward. The family plans to be settled in Dallas by January 1, 2026, and is seeking to add to their exceptional childcare team by hiring one additional full-time nanny (fluid schedule: two weekdays and two weekend days) and one part-time local seasonal nanny during the school year. Two of their current full-time nannies will relocate to Dallas and have their own apartments nearby. The family has 4½-year-old twins (boy and girl) who will begin Kindergarten in the fall and currently attend a pre-K program three days per week. The parents are finalizing school placements and programs for the upcoming year. This is a warm, respectful household that values teamwork, communication, and consistency. The family has maintained the same team of nannies for 3 years with zero turnover; a testament to the positive, supportive, and well-organized environment they’ve created. They are seeking a career nanny experienced in toddler and preschool care, with a calm, confident, and collaborative approach. A background in early childhood development or education is preferred. Mom is currently undergoing Stage IV cancer treatment in Houston; however, the children are thriving thanks to the incredible consistency and dedication of their longtime caregiving team. The ideal candidate embodies faith, family values, and a healthy, active lifestyle, and brings a dependable, drama-free, and positive presence to the home. Must be adaptable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a strong, team-oriented environment. Duties are strictly child-related, including school drop-off and pick-up (nanny mobile provided), children’s laundry, organizing play areas, mealtime support, and facilitating age-appropriate, developmental activities. Nannies must be comfortable with travel and hold a valid passport. Pay is $45/hour when working alongside another nanny and $60/hour when working solo. Hours are guaranteed for full-time employees, and schedules are provided one month in advance. With a large, collaborative team, flexibility for time off is readily accommodated when requested in advance. The position offers excellent benefits, including paid sick days, paid holidays, and full health and dental insurance. Candidates must be fully vaccinated (COVID, flu, Tdap, etc.).
