INFORMATION ABOUT BUSINESS Aon Captive & Insurance Management (ACIM) team is involved in Financial Reporting, Insurance Management for Captive Insurance and Insurance linked Structures GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: Incumbent would be responsible for Insurance Operations like Policy Management, claims and Insurance regulatory support, stake holder management/interactions We are looking for an candidate Commercial P&C Insurance Operations to support end‑to‑end processes across the policy and claims lifecycle for commercial property & casualty (P&C) business. You will work closely with onshore/offshore teams, underwriters, MGA’s, and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, high‑quality insurance booking processing. You will also support system/application transitions and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new or enhanced platforms used in our operations and contribute on the ongoing tech intiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early-career experience in insurance or insurance BPO who wants to deepen their expertise in Commercial P&C. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 6 to 8 years of experience in insurance operations role Experience in underwriting and claims functions for a portfolio of captive insurance, reinsurance or commercial insurance clients Be responsible for the proper liaison between the Insurance function and other functions (Actuarial, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, etc) and third-party service providers (TPA Claims managers, auditors, loss adjustors, brokers, actuaries etc) Experience in insurance operations, preferably in Commercial P&C(carrier, broker, Reinsurer or BPO environment) Understanding of basic policy lifecycle steps (quote–bind–issue–endorse–renew–cancel) and key commercial insurance concepts Run the insurance premium cycle from invoicing and receipt Participating in the renewal of Insurance policies Coordinating Insurance Premium Taxes Be responsible for coordinating and assisting on Claims reporting and analysis Responsible for all Insurance-related payments (claims, reinsurance, IPT settlements etc) Be responsible for filing regulatory reporting in line with Solvency II legislation and guidelines Supporting insurance managers with board preparation, meeting management, logs etc. Communicating with clients and colleagues at all business levels Checking insurance data reports for errors and consulting with insurance managers to fill any gaps Entry of templatized data in SICS for policy, reinsurance and claims admin and ensuring accuracy and consistency across domiciles SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Bachelors/Masters Have a minimum of 6 – 8 years’ experience of any of the following: Insurance Company management, Captive Insurance Company Management, insurance broking, insurance underwriting, claims management or corporate insurance management. Understand the regulatory and compliance environment which governs Insurance and Reinsurance companies. Document process steps, decision points, and business rules in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Possess effective communication and teamwork skills. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel Be open to learning and developing new knowledge, skills and attributes Be fluent in English, as written and spoken English is essential for this role GOOD TO HAVE: Strong Communication skill AINS, FIII, ACII or any other insurance certifications(Not mandatory) WORKS WITH: Small to large project teams and extensive interaction with internal and/or external clients.
