ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) to join our team as an Independent Contractor Associate Therapist.

What You’ll Love:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide psychotherapy in line with your regulatory college’s standards
  • Maintain documentation and clinical records per CRPO/OCSWSSW and PHIPA guidelines
  • Manage your own scheduling and billing
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients
  • Invoice Bluefields on a bi-weekly basis for services rendered
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 5 client sessions/week, including at least 1 in-person day/week

PLEASE NOTE: FORMAL CLINICAL SUPERVISION IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS ROLE.

Who You Are

  • Registered and in good standing with CRPO or OCSWSSW
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychotherapy, counselling, social work, or clinical psychology
  • Holds professional liability insurance
  • Able to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Strong professional and ethical standards and the ability to maintain appropriate client-therapist boundaries
  • Committed to practicing from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, affirming lens
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to team culture
  • Committed to a long-term contractor relationship with the practice
  • Available to begin October 2025

Compensation

  • 65% of client fees collected for standard rate sessions.
  • $20/hour prorated for any mandatory meetings outside of session/related client administrative work
  • Non-mandatory additional opportunities (ex peer consultation, etc.) are optional and unpaid.
