POSITION SUMMARY:

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:

  • Possess previous language curriculum development experience (Function Based Language Curriculum or Military Language Curriculum Preferred)
  • Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in linguistics, language teaching, education, curriculum development or related fields
  • Have a reliable computer and internet, MS Office, camera and headset.
  • Native-like proficiency required in one of the following languages: Portuguese

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • May be required to use computer screen for extensive periods of time.
  • Occasional lifting of 15 to 20 lbs.
  • Extended working hours and travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Use scaffolding techniques to develop lesson activities
  • Follow the lesson development guidelines
  • Be creative and adaptable to improve the quality of the lesson materials
  • Actively participate in intensive training on project-specific curriculum development
  • Meet with leads and managers to discuss problems and advances in the project
