Essential Responsibilities Developing event plans, and timelines aligned with ministry objectives. Identifying and coordinating venues, vendors, and event resources Preparing planning materials, schedules, or run-of-show documentation. Supporting transition from planning to execution in coordination with designated contacts QualificationsQualifications Education & Experience 2–5+ years of experience planning and executing events (conferences, retreats, fundraisers, corporate or ministry events) Experience managing events of varying size and complexity. Vendor coordination experience (venues, catering, AV, speakers, volunteers) For ministry or nonprofit settings: experience with volunteer-led or faith-based events preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication Attention to detail and problem-solving under pressure Negotiation and vendor relationship management Other Requirements The contractor may collaborate with designated staff, volunteers, vendors, or ministry partners for planning and coordination purposes only.
