Description

Looking for inspired and effective LMTs to be independent contractors (1099) at a small, luxury spa opening in wine country in September. The beautiful space is in a 10 room luxury hotel with a local and eco ethos. The property is thoughtfully curated with exquisite textures and bespoke products that create a retreat-like experience for guests in a growing destination town. Ideal candidates are skilled LMTs attuned to the significance of relaxation within therapeutic sessions (even in deep tissue) who want to work autonomously within the setting of a top-rated hospitality staff. We will focus on massage sessions, as well as offer a few special combined treatments that include artisan made PNW products for body application in a dry treatment room.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current Oregon license + professional liability insurance
  • Min. 1-2 years LMT experience, or specific training in spa modalities
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic benefits of manual therapies within the overall context of wellness practices
  • Willingness to discuss interest in paid non-treatment hours (cleaning, admin, laundry, etc.), these are not required but available.
  • Excellent reliability and communication skills with hotel staff and other practitioners

EXPERIENCE OF SPECIAL INTEREST:

  • Combination license as an esthetician
  • Specialized training in modalities beyond relaxation styles + deep tissue including lymph drainage, craniosacral therapy, reiki, ayurveda, reflexology, shiatsu, Tui Na, hot stone.
  • Qualifications in teaching yoga, sound healing, breathwork facilitator, personal training, or other wellness topics that you may be interested in offering as well
  • Experience in hospitality or high-end customer service.
  • Opportunity to expand menu/services to include offering other skills for advanced therapists
