Job Title: Chartered Financial Planner
Location: Tunbridge Wells / Hybrid
Salary: £70,000–£80,000 (negotiable based on client bank and benefit options)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Chartered Financial Planner status (via CII or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to service and grow a HNW client portfolio
  • Willing and able to bring an existing client bank (subject to due diligence)
  • Confident working in a hybrid model with a high-trust environment
  • Strong knowledge across pensions, investments, IHT and later life planning

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

This is a key role for an experienced Chartered Financial Planner with an existing client bank. You’ll manage and expand a portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth individuals, working alongside specialists across mortgages, tax, and legal to deliver joined-up advice. The firm will complete due diligence on your client bank as part of the process. A full support structure is in place, including paraplanning and admin resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead annual reviews for HNW clients: ensuring suitability and fair value
  • Proactively follow up warm leads and deliver engaging first meetings
  • Onboard new clients in line with growth targets and service standards
  • Nurture introducer relationships to generate quality referrals
  • Collaborate with Paraplanners to deliver precise and compliant advice
  • Ensure exceptional client outcomes in all advice delivered
  • Support wider team culture of openness, professionalism, and collaboration
  • Maintain CPD, follow AML/financial crime regulations, and uphold ethical practice
