ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of successfully supporting programmes or managing or delivering projects with exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience of establishing processes and working to deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, including briefing senior stakeholders both verbally and in writing
  • Confidence in working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver results within fixed timeframes with limited resource

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Experience using MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Formal project management training and/or qualification, such as an APM Project Management Qualification or Managing Successful Programmes or equivalent
  • Experience of using Programme Management software tools or willingness to learn, such as Smartsheets, MS Project

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Maintain detailed Programme Delivery Plan, monitor and prepare regular programme performance reports and maintain key programme documentation keeping the Programme Manager informed of key project progress across Corporate systems and processes, Regulatory policy and design, and Supervision and Enforcement
  • Monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies escalating where appropriate
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external Programme stakeholders, including joint DCMS programme team.
  • Maintain programme change processes, preparing change impact assessments, and supporting programme governance to ensure timely decision making
  • Support programme assurance and audit, including working with external agencies and independent assurance functions
  • Undertake additional duties or corporate responsibilities as required, contributing to wider programme priorities or cross-cutting initiatives
  • Support implementation of continuous improvement and learning from experience across the programme
