We’re currently seeking reliable, self-motivated and compassionate in-home/Domestic cleaners/housekeepers to join our team as independent contractors, providing vital support to our aged care, insurance and NDIS clients in their homes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role involves providing high-quality domestic cleaning and household support to help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment for those in your care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces
• Clean kitchens and bathrooms
• Change bed linen and assist with laundry and ironing
• Dispose of household waste and maintain general tidiness
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients
• Follow client-specific cleaning schedules and preferences
• Perform unaided shopping for clients based on pre-arranged lists and needs
• Communicate any concerns or changes in client needs to the appropriate contacts
• Report any health or safety concerns to the appropriate team member
• Treat all clients and their homes with dignity, respect, and confidentiality

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

• Experience providing in-home domestic cleaning and household chores
• Own cleaning equipment and supplies
• Proficient in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Commitment to providing excellent service with a respectful and compassionate approach
• ABN and relevant insurances (public liability, comprehensive car insurance)
• Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Australian working rights
• Access to a reliable and fully insured vehicle
• Smartphone with internet access
• Two relevant work references
