Through programs including adult day services, respite care, supported employment, and independent living skills training, we champion inclusion, independence, and full participation in society. About the position: As an Independent Living Skills (ILS) Instructor, you will work one-on-one with adults with developmental disabilities to help them build the skills needed for greater independence. You will provide individualized instruction in areas such as problem-solving, home management, and social skills. Your role is to support clients in building confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in their communities. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with opportunities for advancement. What You'll Do: * Provide individualized skill development to support independence in daily living, social, and community skills * Support clients in achieving personal goals through structured, person-centered instruction * Monitor progress and adjust support strategies as needed * Drive between community-based settings (such as client homes, appointments, and community activities) and transport clients as part of service delivery using a reliable personal vehicle * Support community integration and social participation * Collaborate with families and other support professionals to ensure coordinated care and support * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress * Other duties as assigned What You'll Bring: * Commitment to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities * Patience, compassion, and a strengths-based approach * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Problem-solving skills and ability to support individualized needs * Strong organization and attention to detail, including documentation * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively * Willingness to learn and grow in a coaching/support role * High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in social services, education, or related fields preferred Perks & BenefitsBenefits may vary based on position and eligibility.
