We are seeking a high-level, self-sufficient Mobile Diesel Mechanic to handle on-site repair calls for various trucking companies and owner-operators. This is a 1099 independent contractor position for a technician who can be dispatched to a location and handle the job from start to finish with zero supervision. ​The Work ​You will be dispatched to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty trucks on-site. Common calls include: ​Coolant Systems: Diagnosing and repairing leaks, hoses, water pumps, and radiators. ​Air Systems: Finding and fixing air leaks and brake system issues. ​Starting/Charging: Troubleshooting and replacing starters, alternators, and batteries. ​DEF/Aftertreatment: Basic diagnostics and sensor issues. ​Requirements ​Equipment: Must have your own reliable vehicle and a full set of tools for heavy-duty truck repair. ​Independence: This is a 1099 role.
