JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking motivated, outgoing, and self-driven Independent Sales Representatives to join our field sales team in the Ottawa area. This is a door-to-door, commission-only sales opportunity ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, face-to-face environment and are motivated by performance-based earnings. You will drive to potential clients’ homes, assess their needs, and create opportunities to sell.
As an independent contractor (self-employed), you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and build your income through a competitive 20% commission on every closed deal you personally generate. Please note that as an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and business expenses.
You will be provided with all necessary gear, pitching training, and access to sales programs designed to support your success in the field. Additional compensation models, including bonuses are available for top-performing sales representatives who meet or exceed sales quotas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in sales, direct sales, or customer service is an asset but not required.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Must have a smartphone or tablet to process sales, access CRM, and communicate effectively.
  • Reliable transportation is required to commute efficiently across various neighborhoods in the city.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct door-to-door sales in residential or small business areas within your assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with co-sales representatives when directed to canvas neighborhoods for sales opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to assignments and directed canvassing areas from company leadership.
  • Identify potential leads, engage prospects, and clearly and persuasively present the value of our products and services.
  • Generate 2–3 qualified leads per day using our CRM platform and maintain weekly communication with management.
  • Close deals efficiently and ensure accurate documentation is completed for each sale.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company offerings, pricing, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Manage customer follow-ups and foster positive long-term relationships to maximize repeat business and referrals.
  • Track and report your own sales performance regularly and transparently.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and conduct to positively represent our brand in the community.
