Moss Adams India (now Baker Tilly) seeks a talented and experienced India Managed Services Director provides strategic and operational leadership for Baker Tilly’s Managed Services Operations in India. • As the leader of India Managed Services Practice and Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for its success and growth • Build and scale Firm’s Managed Services solution lines — Accounting & Financial Services (AFS), Talent Management Services (TMS), and HR Services • Drive performance and lead the practice’s efforts to attain Firm benchmarks (i.e., realization, utilization, profitability, client satisfaction) • Develop, track and analyse annual budgetary requirements needed for determining fiscal revenues and profitability targets including actuals vs. ETC forecasts • Ensure service excellence through quality, timeliness, and efficiency; monitor KPIs and SLAs • Partner with U.S.-based leadership on strategic initiatives, delivery model evolution, and client engagements • Build a high-performing, values-driven culture aligned with Managed Services’ purpose and goals • Lead talent strategy in India—including recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention • Drive operational standardization, automation, and continuous improvement efforts • Serve as escalation point for service delivery issues and lead resolution planning • Work with U.S. Managed Services leadership, the IMP and other Leaders in building an appropriate India staffing model and actively coordinate with contributory leaders to engage, retain, sponsor, and build resources and their capabilities within India • Lead talent strategy in India for managed services —including recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention • Collectively support the effort to create and sustain the firm as an employer of choice • Actively coordinate with India and U.S. leaders to engage, retain, sponsor, and build resources and their capabilities within the Managed Services function • Build a high-performing, values-driven culture aligned with Managed Services’ purpose and goals • Actively engage with employees as the India Managed Services leader and drive inclusivity, engagement and culture that represents the Firm’s values. General Position Summary: Responsibilities: People Responsibilities: • Lead the development of consistent processes that enhance the quality of client service, and the development of our people • Prepare and host client vendor due diligence visits showcasing our people, processes transition, performance governance, digital and technology capabilities • Advocate and build capabilities that can help drive client experience and growth for the Firm, through use of technology, data analytics and the India innovation ecosystem. This should help in improving client engagement, productivity and positioning Baker Tilly as a value player • Partner with U.S. based Managed Services leadership on strategic initiatives, client engagements and delivery model evolution • Enable employees in India to understand the Voice of Customer and the Firm’s growth strategies and priorities, and encourage/enable them to deliver effectively • Build and extend the Firm’s Managed Services capabilities to deliver service excellence and innovation • Drive practice-wide acceptance and utilization of capabilities by playing the role of an ‘Evangelist’ for the capabilities • Build capabilities to drive maturity across service, practice and innovation • Promote operational standardization, automation, and technology enablement to scale delivery • 12+ +years of experience in managing offshore operations within a professional services or Managed Services Firm • Proven track record in leading multi-functional teams across finance, HR, and operational services • Strong understanding of technology-enabled service models and workflow-based delivery • Experience collaborating across global teams and working in matrixed environments • Background in supporting North American clients preferred • Familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct), HR systems, or cloud-based workflow tools • Experience implementing delivery KPIs, process improvement, and talent architecture at scale • Exposure to industry forums and contribution to the Firm’s brand building • Strong operational leadership with the ability to drive delivery excellence across multiple service lines • Significant executive presence with the ability to network, engage, collaborate and drive required agenda at a Firm level • Strong people leadership skills — ability to coach, mentor, and build talent across all levels • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to champion innovation, automation, and continuous improvement in service delivery The India Managed Services Director reports to the India Managing Principal with a dotted line to the US Managed Services leadership.
