Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook authentic Indian curries (vegetarian and non-vegetarian)
  • Operate and manage the tandoor oven for naan, roti, and tandoori meats
  • Handle starters such as samosas, pakoras, kebabs, and Indian-style entrees
  • Maintain consistent portion control and quality of dishes
  • Assist with daily mise en place and kitchen prep
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area and adhere to OH&S standards
  • Train junior staff or kitchen hands when needed
